Why Attend?

CruiseCon was created to give all cybersecurity professionals the education and experiences typically reserved for Fortune 200 security security executives. We intentionally created an agenda that has timely subjects in both personal and professional development in an environment tailored to learning and networking. Not only will attendees come away with world class information on critical topics, they will learn to further their careers and develop professional connections for life. Even better, this is at an all-inclusive cost that is on par with, or less, than other cybersecurity events.

Mean Time to Recovery—Human: Measuring What Matters Most

In a profession defined by nonstop alerts and relentless pressure, cybersecurity leaders often monitor every system except their own. This interactive session invites CISOs and security executives to step back and measure the one metric most organizations overlook — their human energy system. Drawing on data from the 2025 State of Stress in Cybersecurity report and performance-psychology research, participants will complete a brief “Energy Check-In” to assess their physical, mental, and emotional recovery levels. Through guided reflection and small-group discussion, they’ll learn how to recognize energy depletion before it turns into burnout, and discover practical habits to restore clarity, focus, and resilience. Attendees will leave with a simple framework and worksheet to apply immediately — a quick, repeatable method to monitor and improve their personal and team energy, helping them perform sustainably in a field that rarely powers down.

Agentic AI: Understanding and Securing the Next Frontier of Intelligent Systems

Imagine giving your intern not just access to your computer, but also your credit card, API keys, and permission to make decisions on your behalf—that's essentially what we're doing with agentic AI. Unlike traditional AI that focus on classification predicting outcomes, these systems actively take actions, use tools, and pursue goals with minimal human oversight. This creates complex new attack vectors: agents can be tricked into transferring funds, manipulated through crafted inputs, sent astray by misinformation and hallucinations from another agent in the chain, or develop unexpected behaviors that sidestep our security assumptions. We'll dive into real-world threat scenarios, explore why traditional security models fall short, and discuss practical approaches for containing and governing the next frontier of intelligent systems.

Frictionless Fun: The Invisible Security Architecture of Xbox

Security professionals often equate trust with control, but the Xbox challenges this assumption by proving that one of the most secure devices on a network can be the one users cannot configure at all. In this session, Temi Adebambo, GM of Gaming Security at Microsoft, reveals how the console’s secure architecture embeds protection directly into its hardware, system architecture, and tightly curated software environment, eliminating the need for user intervention. Attendees will learn how this "Secure-by-Design" model keeps games isolated from sensitive functions, blocks untrusted code by default, and withstands hostile conditions through engineering rather than user maintenance. The result is a compelling blueprint for the future of secure consumer devices: simple, resilient, and trusted by design.
