The fee includes all cruise fees for 1 or 2 guests in a cabin and one conference registration fee. This includes tips and taxes. It does not include extras, shore excursions, drink packages, Wifi, or any other charge that is an extra.

Our reserved block includes balcony rooms, exterior rooms without a balcony, and interior rooms, so that we can offer a range of prices to meet your budgets. Should any category of room sell out, we may be able to expand our block and request more rooms of a given category, but there will likely be a price increase for that room type.

We encourage it. Your room includes up to 2 people. We have a few rooms set aside for people traveling with children that can accommodate more than 2 people, but you will have to let us know and there will be a charge for each person over 2 people in a room. The charge is roughly $450 per person, but can vary. Please contact us for these requests.

Is the ship family friendly and have something to do for my significant other while I am at the event?

The host ship, The Voyager of the Seas, is a major cruise ship that was refurbished in 2022 and is made to keep people entertained while at sea. Your accompanying guests will have as much or as little to do as they choose. There are also special programs for children on board.

There will be an event fee for an extra conference attendee.

To attend the event, you must book the cabin through the event. There are logistical reasons for this to ensure that we have the appropriate conference space available to us, as well as a variety of other logistical issues. Our rates include the conference fee, as well as taxes and tips that are not included in online rates. There will be no “walk-ins” allowed.

No. As of 11/30/2024 all bookings are non-refundable as the group is in the penalty period. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance at https://go.foxdoes.travel/travelinsured in order to protect against any needs for cancellation.

Frankly, we hope so. However, at the moment if our room block sells out, we can go back to the cruise line to allocate more rooms. It is however likely that future blocks of rooms will cost more. We do have a hard cap for conference attendees, but we currently have room for growth.

We will have a welcome reception. They are going to allocate a special section of the main dining room for our groups. We are looking for other events to add as we get closer to the cruise date.

We are full guests of the ship and all attendees and their guests will have full access to the ship. The only notable limitation is that all attendees will be assigned to the Main Dinner time and will have an assigned seating area in the main dining hall for dinner.

We're honored for the interest that people have expressed to speak at the event. Unfortunately, at the moment, the CruiseCon agenda is complete.

Should there be a future CruiseCon, speakers will likely be chosen in a similar way to CruiseCon 2026. The event is a single track event that has technical, personal development, and personal growth topics, similar to invite only CISO events. We surveyed our likely attendees for specific topics, and then curated the content based on all feedback. We then reached out to speakers who are expert on the topics. 

Future events will be similar in content, and the most likely source for topics will be the CruiseCon attendees. We will not have a CFP in the foreseeable future.
